Think you know what’s in your food?

I thought I had a pretty good idea of roughly how much fat, sugar and salt was in my daily diet. Oh what a fool!

This is a scene we have had to cut from Sunday night’s programme because we were running over time. It’s interesting though because it makes the point that even when you think you know how much of each are in what you eat every day …. you haven’t got a clue. Or I didn’t at any rate.

Teagasc and the wonderful Karen Hussey very kindly pulverized and analysed everything I ate over the course of 24 hours (and no I’m not proud but I was being honest). The results were startling to say the least.

The rest of the documentary can be seen on RTE1 at 9.30 on Sunday 7th October. #whatsirelandeating over on twitter

It’s enormous that you are getting ideaws from this paragraph as well as from our discussion made at this time.

  2. You really make it appear really easy woth your presentation but I
to find this topic to be actually one thing
that I feel I might never understand. It sort of eels too complicated and extremely wide for me.
I’m having a look ahead on your subsequent put up,I’ll attempt to get the grasp of it!

  3. When I originally commented I clicked the “Notify me when new comments are added” checkbox and now each time a comment is
added I get four emails with the same comment.
Is there any way you can remove me from that service?
    Cheers!
